Review of Hotpod Unlimited stove

100% Satisfaction

I initially became aware of the hotpod limited edition that is made out of up-cycled VW car parts but opted for the unlimited edition instead because is is made of cast iron and is hence more thermally efficient. Dan, the creator of the hotpods, was extremely helpful and informative throughout the pre-sale process and the stove arrived exactly when promised in an exciting looking wooden crate. I had the hotpod professionally installed in a lined chimney on a slate hearth and it looks fantastic, attracting comments from all friends and family that visit. It is very easy to light using kindling and as a multi-fuel stove burns seasoned wood and coal, keeping our three-storey house warm at night without additional heating, probably reducing our overall energy consumption by about 30%. We have subsequently ordered the tongs and stand to complete the set (the poker and gloves come with the stove) and Dan continues to provide advice and assistance. Highly recommended.
