Review of Heta Inspire 55 stove

Lovely stove which gives plenty of heat

We were woodburner novices; we picked this stove for its clean, simple lines and large window - we wanted to be able to SEE the fire. We also wanted to burn smokeless coal to boost heat output in colder weather. We are very happy with the Heta 55; we light it with the door very slightly ajar (on the latch) with newspaper and a little kindling and away it goes. We have learned the importance of having properly seasoned logs which burn without tar and soot. If the window gets a little smoked we clean it with wood ash and damp sponge and it comes up beautifully.. Our room is an open plan kitchen/sitting/dining area approx 23'' x 15 and we only have single glazing, but this stove keeps it cosy. Very pleased!
