Have found that once the controls are mastered then this stove is well worth the effort. It seemed odd to use the allen key to begin with but now it is just second nature

Easy to light and burns well. Have tried it with smokeless as well as wood.

We have managed to keep it going overnight after only a little practice.

Seems to burn very efficiently and really throws out some heat once it gets going and keeps the downstairs of our 3 bed house very warm. This has meant that we are using much less gas for heating.
