Had stove 7 years, lit every day October to March, burn seasoned hardwood. Always leave top air flow open ever so slightly and leave ash pan part filled. One air brick replaced which the service chap cut to size and fitted for £30. Stove gives off lovely heat, easy to use. Clean glass using ash, on odd occasion propriety cleaner. Can''t recommend highly enough.
