We have a Franco Belge Savoy which has been fitted for ten years. We have now found fractures running top to bottom on the rear of both sides of the stove. We now have to buy another stove, needless to say it will not be a Franco Belge.

Stove expert replied: The cast craking can be down to many causes and this shoudl be investigated further. A stove thermometer will insure that it is ioperated within the correct perameters and is a good investment. Modern stoves will have been adapted and improved and as this is 10 years old should not be compared to a new product.
