Poor build quality

We have had this in our home for just over 2 years but hasn't had much use. The body of the fire has got cracks all over it. The rear brick has a 2.5" crack down the middle and franco belge aren't bothered at all because the 2 year guarantee has run out. This is a waste of money but more importantly potentially very dangerous, please avoid.
