Installed the montfort elegance two years ago, its paid for its self ten times over. It kicks out a lot of heat for a little stove and heats most of my bungalow so no need for the central heating. Easy to use and have no trouble keeping it lit overnight. My only gripe is I get smoke come back into my room whenever I open the fire door, I had the flue checked and swept it is ok but the fire does not draw very well unlike other fires.

Stove expert replied: Have you got an antidown draught cowl on the chimney? Possible height problem worth following up witha chimney expert.
