Review of Firefox 5 Classic stove

Firefox 5 Classic (Defra)

I previously had a stovax 8 installed but I found this too big for the fire place, so I saw this stove going cheap on the internet and I took the plunge, best move I have made!!

The stove has the look of a much more expensive model and is very well made. It kicks out a fair amount of heat for its size and is easy to keep clean as the glass seems to just clean with a damp rag after use.

I have mainly been just burning good seasoned wood, but I have tried stove nuts and anthracite in deep winter and this burns OK, but as it is the Defra clean burn version it's not really suitable for banking in as there is a factory set airflow.

I would thoroughly recommend this stove and I would certainly plump for another if I ever need to replace this one.
