I HAVE BEEN USING THIS STOVE FOR JUST OVER A WEEK NOW. I HAVE FOUND IT TO BE VERY GOOD. NO PROBLEMS WITH THE AIR WASH SYSTEM. JUST SLIGHT DARKENING OF THE GLASS AT THE BOTTOM NEAR THE GRATE
GUARD AFTER A LONG USE OF TEN TO TWELVE HOURS. EASILY CLEANRD BY RUBBING WITH DRY NEWSPAPER. THE STOVE IS VERY GOOD WITH LOTS OF HEAT BEING PRODUCED. MINIMAL ASH IN THE CAN WHICH I ONLY EMPTY EVERY TWO OR THREE DAYS. VERY EASY TO LIGHT WITH HALF A FIRELIGHTER AND SOME SMALL KINDLING. I CAN RECOMMEND THIS STOVE 100% IT IS GREAT FOR HEATING BOTH ROOMS WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.

The stove is fairly well constructed with a basic handle (a good thing if you ask me), no casting faults and the doors are a snug fit, however a hinge pin works it's self out with door use suggesting
some misalignment, but nothing noticeable, also poor welding and painted weld splatter is visible on the inside with the door open. The handle is good quality metal that remains coolish' when the stove is hot. Paint finish isn't great and some rust is appearing after 12 months which isn't ideal.I think the stove is tremendous value for money in comparison to all the other dual aspect stoves we looked at, coming in around £1400.It's very easy to use and light with a base vent that helps get things burning. The firebox is huge and able to handle large logs that burn for a long time when the fire is up to heat. The air wash isn't as good as I was expecting (as good as the salesman said it wood be) but it's not bad given how much we use it shut right down after its heated up the house. Overall control is fairly decent but not as good as some others I've tried and getting a happy medium can be a balancing act (wood type and many other factors can have an influence in this)I can honestly say I would buy the stove again given the price point and large capacity. The stove has no real weaknesses is a huge plus. I think the stove looks great and would fit in both traditional and contemporary settings, but that's something you'll have to decide for yourself.P.S. I'm thinking of buying a clarity 5/8 for the cottage.I hope this helps.

Stove expert replied: Minor negatives for stove and as the customer says these may be down to fuel type, where the settings are, flue draw etc. They do offer good value for money being a cast stove.
