Review of Ecosy Petit 5 Stove

Great value and service.

I have had one of these stoves for about 6 months now and it's been great from day one. Easy to control the draw and with the right wood you have to be careful not to let it get too hot, even with just one log, it works so well. Build quality and finish are good. You can touch the handle with bare hands under most conditions and the front and rear vents are easy to operate as is the griddle. I often cook casseroles on the top in a cast iron pot which works well. I have not managed to get the overnight burn to work when burning wood, perhaps I'm not doing it right. Also, if you let it get too hot (>250 degreesC on the flue temp gauge) it releases a smell. It did this for quite a few burns but seems to have stopped now. These are my only gripes. It's a very good value product and its just as effective and efficient as more expensive stoves and I think it is much better looking too. Very happy overall.
