Recently installed stratford stove, having problems with smoke coming into the room when refueling the fire, the room has a vent and the chimney has been cleaned, could anyone help me with this issue

Stove expert replied: Has the chimney been lined? How tall is the chimney and what is the physical internal size? Have you an anti down draught cowl on the top? Are there any other flues in the property? Is the property surrounded by other buildings or trees? There is usually an explanation for this problem and it can be a process of elimination to find and then undertake corrective measures. The first point would be your installer so he can clarity some of the points above. If the stove draw seems fine once the flue is warmed and the problem only occurs when refueling takes place it is likely to be the change in pressure and making the flue longer may get over this, or perhaps changing the terminal.
