3 bed 200 year old flint cottage, the e678 easily heats the whole house, oil boiler now used for heating water or central heating if house is going to be empty for a few days in the winter.
Stove is easy to light and stays warm for up to 12 hours after logs are fully burnt, gives out 0.07% carbon emissions so also helps the environment. What’s not to like.

Easy to light, easy to control, it can be left to burn down until it is almost out, yet it is still producing lots of heat and is easy to get going again, simply put wood on then open the ash
draw slightly and it flares up. Put the last logs on at 9pm and the Ecco stove is still slightly warm to the touch in the morning. I burn 7 cubic metres of logs per winter and this stove heats a large 4 bedroom old, draughty house. I use the heating for between 18 and 20 hours in a whole winter no matter what the outside temperature is. The only time I use the heating is when I am away in order to prevent frozen pipes.Ecco stove service is second to none, too.
