Review of Dunsley Highlander 5 stove

Dunsley highlander enviro 5

After shopping about for a stove which had a wood store option I finally went for the Dunsley Enviroburn 5 with the multi fuel riddling grate, and I am not disappointed. I was very concerned that with these stoves being defra approved you would not be able to control them properly, as you cannot shut the air vents fully. It is really controllable especially when it is hot, almost like a gas fire . After one or two burns I soon learnt the best settings to keep the window clean and a quick wipe if any is all it needs. It will burn over night I am using KB smokeless coal. My last stove was a Esse turnberry which I left in the last house brill fire in its time but not in the same league as these new fires. I would definitely recommend one, it would be nice if the fire box was a little bigger but it is a 5kw \n\n
