We purchased a Dowling stove in 2001. Actual stove was okay but now needing fourth replacement of liner. First two were not of adequate standard and had to be replaced by the company. Same thing happened and after much discussion with owner he agreed to replace the shoddy part.

Now this liner which is supposedly guaranteed for 20 years is also not working.

We can no longer use the fire as room fills with smoke.

We have adhered to all the guidance regarding type of fuel etc. Chimney swept regularly (again this was a service they provided but stopped)

The owner, Steve Dowling has stopped replying to emails as from 27/06/17 - would appear not to be interested in customer care.

They also used to service fire annually but no longer offer this service.

Please ensure you have a guarantee in writing as verbal guarantee obviously worth nothing to this company.
