Review of Dovre 2700 stove

Great for what it is.

We bought this to fit an a large inglenook. First off, it looks great, very grand.

We''ve got the base for it and spaced about 200mm away from the wall behind.

It''ll take an easy 10kg of coal without overloading. Due to its size and thickness of the steal it takes a while to warm up but once going seems easy to control to reduce the heat down.

Its party piece is having the doors open, which hardly any other stove is designed to do, like this it gives out massive heat.

It can burn a lot of wood/coal but it is a 10kw+ burner, so of course it''ll use more than a 5kw stove.

Stove expert replied: The Dovre 2700 stove is a wood burning model only and coal should not be used on it. The 2000 and 1800 models are multifuel though.
