A nice looking stove, but if you buy it with the plinth and hood kit i.e. when it looks great. Then it does not heat well. The convector is largely covered and it fails to provide the heat it should.

I modified the base plinth with a hole cutter. I cut 25mm dia holes and lots of then to give 300cm2 of open space for air to flow around the convector. Now it works fine and gives off lots of heat.

But if you did not do this it will be a dissapointment.

Stove expert replied: Do not undertake any modification to a stove unless you are prepared to invalidate the warranty. It seems in this case the change has made a big difference.
