It can be fitted with or without a frame. It is pictured here without a frame but with a fire place surround.

  • Inset cassette fire, nice looks but compromised

    Nice looking fire, but very poor heat output considering the size of the firebox and that it is fan assisted which makes it noisy when fan is running, takes a long time to generate heat and
    airwash is average + airwash can be difficult to adjust and easily jams.

    Stove expert replied: Has this been installed with insulation surrounding the firebox to ensure that the heat generated goes into the room rather than into the surrounding materials?
