• Don''t waste your money

  Terrible fire. We have had numerous problems with the baffle plate, with no satisfactory response from the company. It will not do an overnight burn. The seals have been replace 3 times in
  4 years, spare parts (ie the bolts that held the baffle plate in place) are not available, due to (apparently) the Royal Mail being unable to deliver metal objects!. I have owned 3 other wood burners in the past 20 years and I have never had a problem with the maintenance of them, the control of the heat, or the ability to keep the fire in overnight. I was told by the owner that it was a skill that needed to be learnt!!

  Stove expert replied: Having had 3 other stoves you are obviously no novice to their operation, a shame that you are not finding this model to be providing your requirements. Try an alternative spares supplier for the parts that are required.

  I purchased a country kiln 37 stove two years ago. The fire gives out lots of heat. But after two years the throat plate burnt out and cracked and warped. Tried ringing country kiln to get a
  replacement. That's when it all turned bad for me. I was told that they don't do spares as they were too expensive to supply. I have found the whole situation very unhelpful and am not impressed by the lack of after care service. I'm now left with a stove that does not work. Got told by the man on the phone to make one myself, truly amazing so am unable to give positive feedback on this product.
