Not very warm........

We have had a Country Kiln 10 stove for 3 years (stated 8 kw when we purchased it), and have been very disappointed with the heat output. You have to stand very close to feel any heat at all. Different types of fuel haven't improve it. Standing an eco fan on the stove has helped slightly, but we expected to feel much more heat from it. Especially as everyone we asked told us that the stove would be more than adequate for our room size, which is no bigger than average and it's a modern house with good insulation. It has been very sturdy and the glass has never broken, but we bought it for the heat. We have now ordered a Villager stove, and hope that will be better.
