Review of Clock Blithfield 5 and Compact 5 Stoves

Clock Blithfield 5 Compact - Love it!

Simon P 2 weeks ago

I had a Clock Blithfield 5 Compact fitted at start of year and love it. I was worried about getting standard sized logs to fit 25cm(10 inch) but they fit in with room to spare. It gets up to temp so quickly and easily with the air controls really precise and effective. I was also worried after seeing some reviews here about smoke coming into room while re-loading but had no issues, I open the door just a crack for 15 seconds and then open wide enough to put logs in and have had zero smoke leaving the stove.

I have had a 904 flue in case I use smokeless coal but have only used logs so far and burning beech I can get a nice long slow burn but loads of heat and the glass stays perfectly clean.

For a compact-ish stove it really does pump out some heat and heats my 5 metre x 5 metre living room so well I usually have to open the connecting doors which heats my kitchen then too.

It''s heavy and the build quality is tank like but I love the looks as well.

I couldn''t be happier with my first stove!
