Review of Clock Blithfield 5 and Compact 5 Stoves

First Class Stove

Kevin Morrish 2 years ago

We purchased a clock blithfield compact 5 and had it fitted by a local professional fitter in Essex. We had the chimney lined and fireplace chopped out to provide a slightly bigger chamber for it to sit in. The stove itself feels very well made and built to last. Its performance is excellent and we have had no issues with smoke billowing in the room or any issues around it making too much noise. It is quiet, efficient and provides a supreme level of heat. The controls on it are very precise and a joy to use...From talking to our fitter he advised that stoves will behave differently depending on how that are used (or not used correctly) and where geographically they are fitted. We have a very tall chimney and live in an area that is not to built up. Our clock stove is frankly the best investment we made and we absolutely love it. If you are thinking of getting a stove fitted I would recommend you get a survey first and proper advice on it''s installation, how to light it, control it etc. It could be the best decision you ever made.
