Review of Clearview 750 stove

Perfect - does what you'd expect ... warms everything up!

Glyn Tutt

After spending a day installing 175mm inside diameter stainless insulated rigid flue I just could not resist getting the 750 hooked up. I knew the draw on the chimney was ok as it was clear that the 7m length was drawing nicely before we even connected the stove. With the 2 air controls fully open lighting the kindling was spurradic, so by closing down the airwash we got a nice burn within 5 minutes. As with all clearviews, once the fire is going we immediately shut the grate air off and opened up the preheated airwash flow. Easy to adjust and the heat output into the room (aided with an Ecofan on top of the low canopy) is superb and the gravity fed water pipework fitted to the domestic sized boiler is fine too.

What more can I say? If you install the Clearview as per the manufacturers instructions everything seems to work as intended. The finish of the stove is good (that's what you pay for) and I am looking forward to 15 years or more hassle free operation! Thank you agin Clearview for a great product.
