Struggling with the fire

I have followed all the instructions in respect of the primary and secondary air, yet I’m failing to get the fire to operate as advertised. I get the fire well established, but then whenever I latch the door the fire stops burning and smokes. Is the fire faulty?

Stove expert replied: Your installer should have run through the use with you during commissioning of the appliance, it is worth speaking with them and your supplier.
