Review of Broseley Winchester Multifuel Stove

Great Stove

Bob Blavins 8 years ago

We got fed up with all the heat from an open fire going straight up the chimney, so after looking at a lot of much more expensive stoves we bought one of these for about £650 delivered.

What a BRILLIANT stove, very easy to light, kicks out loads of heat and looks really good too.

The airwash system keeps the main glass clear so long as you don't try to burn too slowly, the side windows blacken quite easily but very easy to wipe clean with damp newspaper dipped in the ash.

Before buying I tried to ascertain if it was made in China, couldn't find out for sure but seems to be very well made, why are other cast iron stoves so expensive?

To sum up we have had this stove for nearly a year now and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone, but don't put it in a small room you WILL cook, ours heats the whole house.
