Does what it says on the tin. The ash box will hold enough ash for a good half days burn. I am really pleased with the stove and have bought a few extras i.e. an Eco fan to sit on the top to blow the air into the room. The only down fall I can find is the tool used for the door and ash plates doesn't really fit the door, but I suspect this was changed in the shop as I haggled the showroom demo stove down! I would buy this product again, we bought this stove because it was built in the UK.
