Review of Waterford Stanley Oisin stove

Waterford Stanley Oisin stove

I have this stove in a 200 year old stone cottage (bad wall insulation) used as a holiday home (Ireland). It was in the cottage when I bought it. After it gets going the heat in the room is sufficient. However overnight burning is nonexistent. Build quality of the stove is very good but I have replace parts (glass twice in 5 years). Firebox is small so it can be a bit of a battle to force a medium size log into the box and close the door. Would I recommend it? If you want to burn coal yes, if you want to burn wood No. I’m currently renovating the room so I’m replacing the stove. I’m not going to buy the same stove for two reasons, firstly bad with wood secondly these is such a large selection available I would like to try something different.
