Having Problems
Having problems using this stove. I finding that I'm getting a whistling noise coming from it and I'm actually having to turn the TV up as it's that annoying! Does anybody have any solutions for this? I'm also finding it difficult to start the stove with kindling, I've followed the instructions but to no avail, does anybody have any tips on this too? The heat it produces is great, once it's going. All help would be much appreciatedðŸ™
Stove expert replied: When lightiing use rolled up newspaper and small stocks of kindling, leave door ajar for extra air to lift flue gasses away from firebox, add larger fuel gradually until the flue has warmed and a good fire is established. The whistling noise may be from the airwash, try pulling the lever forward to see if this helps as the plate behind may have a gap allowing the air to whistle through. If this is the case you may be able to tighten the lever to prevent this.
