1st we are in a average 4 bed house

I have come from work at 1715 hrs ,our central heating comes on at 1615 hrs at about 1830 hrs ( I am talking about very cold nights like we had winter 2011)I would light the stove, shut the three bedroom doors and dining room door, leaving ours open as with the bathroom and toilet, then turn the central heating off, it is not long before we have to open the door to the room the stove is in, as it gets too hot in the room, this then keeps warm whats open upstairs, and our kitchen and hall downstairs.

Our chimney is lined so the air draw is very strong but the air controls are very efficient so no problem.

Lighting, some tightly rolled newspaper, small kindling on top, larger wood on top of the kindling, in five minutes we have a roaring fire for our big logs, a fantastic small stove that could not be faulted,

Have not tried any other fuel other than wood, have not tried burning overnight. but have given it a rating of 3 to get through the review

Stove expert replied: Seems very efficient producing good heat, performing well.
