Review of Firefox 5 stove

Firefox 5 Multifuel

For the money this stove represents outstanding value. The finish isn't the same as more expensive stoves, but unique and beautiful in its own way. Everything operates well, door fits well, decent size & sturdy ash pan etc, etc.\n\nEasy to light and control. The stove will happily tick over on minimal wood/coal (Excell/Easyburn)combo, or once going you can stoke it up and enjoy the unbelievable ammount of heat this little stove kicks out.\n\nMore than happy with this product, having used more expensive 4 - 6kw stoves, the Firefox 5 ticks all the right boxes. \n\nIf you're on a budget, this does the job nicely. \n\n

Stove expert replied: It is not a great idea to burn wood and coal at the same time. Wood may have a fair bit of moisture in it, coal may have high sulphur content which can end up making suplhuric acid which will eat away at your stove and chimney.
