Review of Charnwood Country 4 stove

Brilliant Stove

Oldhenry 13 years ago

This is a great stove. We have had the multi fuel version since Jan 2003. It has no faults at all. I put a new glass in as it was getting fogged, but the door seals will wear out after a few years. They are cheap and easy to replace. We use smokeless fuel in winter and it keeps in for weeks on end. Wood in Spring/Autumn and light it in evening. keeps a room 24x13 feet hot easily. Keep the airwash open half way to prevent tar with even very dry wood. we never use wood unles dried by us for 2-3 years- under cover and with air blowing through. Only use Oak/ash. Clean chimney every year.\nVery good decision to buy this form local supplier, no need to buy foreign stuff.\n
