Review of Charnwood Country 4 stove

A superb little stove, beautifully built, easy to light, and very controllable. It gives out an enormous amount of heat - way too much really for the eleven foot square room it's in, but with the doors to the room left open it warms the whole house (single floor). I shall have to burn large logs very slowly or the heat is simply stifling in a small closed room. This of course causes the glass to darken, and I've not been able to clear it by fast burning, but easy to wipe clean next morning with a damp cloth and a bit of ash. I think the airwash is a bit of a gimmick - probably effective when fast burning, but that's not going to happen much I think. \nI'm very glad I went for quality rather than price in the end. That said, it's not at all expensive for a stove of this quality.
