I am very pleased with the amount of heat this fire gives off, and at how quick it is to get going.

If I ever get to replace it, I will consider adding a back-boiler to save even more money off my energy bills.

Biggest negative is the relatively short life of the fire-cement seal round the flue connection.

Stove expert replied: You could use a heat resistant sealant instead of fire cement to overcome this problem.
