Review of TT40

Very impressed

Joe P 9 years ago

So far the TT40 has been great, all the heat comes out the front so can be positioned close to walls (the main reason we chose it). Firebox is huge (so we can bank it up with logs to burn overnight) and the curved glass gives a great view of the flames. It's 5kw but heats our whole 2 bed barn conversion if we leave the doors open. Airwash is better than on our old clearview pioneer IMO – cleans glass from very black to crystal clear in about half an hour when up to temperature. So far, the only downside is that the top air control lever is tricky to adjust as I find it very stiff. It may loosen up over time but at the moment that's a drawback. Good value for an upright, scandivian style stove, too. We paid just under £1000 for ours.
