We've had this stove for 12 months and are very pleased with it in all respects. We previously had an open fire and wanted to retain the existing fireplace, which has an opening 22" high and
22" wide - with a rectangular hearth recess base 14 "deep. The first 5 stove dealers that we visited said there were no stoves small enough to fit. But the next dealer had this Pevex model which is perfect.Although small, with output 1.5-4 kWh (nominal 3kWh), it's plenty for our 6x4 meter lounge. It's easy to light and control.We have no hesitation in recommending it.
