This is now over 2 years old and we''re still in love with our stove. In summer I look forward to the cold weather so I can light it. The condition remains like new. We have a huge store of
Ash logs. We order a load each Spring. I expect to save gas next year when the price rises by burning more logs.

Great compact small stove, that produces well over 4kw rate. Burns very clean and easy to operate and maintain. Perfect for a corner stove and the clearance distances are very good. We got ours
with the door below for keeping our logs in.

My first stove, fitted 4 days ago. But long enough to have given it a good test, using kiln dried birch, softwood timber that made up the pallet it came in, seasoned ash and smokeless coal.
I wanted a posh gas fire in our 1960''s bungalow, but my wife has always wanted a stove. And I now love it too - much easier and more fun than I expected. It takes minutes to prepare and light, best of all is the amount of heat you get from a single log, and the tiny amount of ash. The amount of control is great, as long as you keep in a layer of ash. And I was not expecting the ability to burn smokeless coal with the same amazing efficiency. So far, we''ve only wiped the glass once, and emptied the little ash tray once. The small size of firebox means it can burn nicely with a single log, and this lessens the risk of overheating the room while giving the full flame effect through the big curved window. The S11-42 is the same as the S11-43, but with short legs, not a closed box under. We were warned about smell from the curing paint, but experienced none. Our installer maintains most of the stoves he fits, and he recommended this one as being problem free. And we have a local Morso showroom.
