Review of Morso Panther stove

Superb stove

Tony Houlihan 12 years ago

Bought 5 years ago and has performed faultlessly since then. The secret to proper burning is to use dry wood, the drier the better. DO NOT USE damp or wet wood and DO NOT stop it down if the wood is just smouldering, only stop it down when the wood is blazing merrily. Failure to follow these simple instructions will result in a horrible stink of creosote everywhere. The Morso Panther I use is positioned centrally in a room that is 6½ metres wide and 6½ metres long and heats it quite nicely.
