Review of Morso 5660

Morso 5660

I had this Morso installed into my new build house in 2010 and have loved it from the start. It is well made easy to use and very adjustable. Like any wood burner it takes a bit of time to get used to but after 3 or 4 goes you get the hang of it. Using the proper start up means you don't get smoked up glass. I started using kindling but after a while I could start straight off with 3 logs, a bit of paper and 2 fire lighters. On minimum setting I would do a small log an hour. We loved just watching the flames dance around. The only issue we had was it could get hot very quickly and it takes time to cool down but I think this is largely because we have a very well insulated house. The room was 4x5.5m. Cleaning is a doddle. I'd empty it about every 4 or 5 goes and just dump the ash on the garden.
