Review of Little Thurlow stove

Great Stove!

Alison Clewes 9 years ago

We have had our Little Thurlow for about a month and was bought to replace a very old Villager. The new stove is excellent. It's easy to light and the air wash system keeps the door clean and clear. We burn taybrite rather than logs which means we can bank it up at night, shut all the vents down and its still glowing in the morning. The ash pan is emptied and fresh fuel is added, keeping our cottage cosy warm. The stove heats our two bed cottage with no problem and keeps all the room toastie.

We put a stove thermometer on the top so we can keep it at between 300-400c which is easy to do with the vents.

If there are any downsides to the stove it's probably the riddle system which can jam if the ash builds up but it's easy to fix.

Great stove would recommend it.
