Review of Jotul F 100

Jotul F100 multi fuel v's Wood only F100

I have owned Both a Jotul F100 (wood only) and a Jotul F100 multi fuel - all buyers of the mutli fuel version should be made aware that to empty the ash pan the grate has to be lifted in order to get the ash pan out - this means the stove has to burn out fully so expect down time unlike other stove but this is not a problem for us - the Jotul F100 wood stove creates very little ash - we use the stove evenings and weekends and take 2 mugs of ash out a week! I am a chimney sweep and a HETAS REG FITTER - I HAVE NEVER HAD TO BUY A SPARE PART FOR THE F100 OTHER THAN GLASS quality product!

Stove expert replied: Good feedback, if you need to use an ashpan though a little diappointing to have to take the stove apart to do so.
