Review of Jetmaster 60i inset stove

jetmaster 60i

Fitted in September 2014 so we have used it for one complete winter. it burns a lot of seasoned wood and is not as controllable as we would like. The heat output seems low for the quantity of fuel consumed. The ashpan is a slim tray which needs emptying several times a day. The front bars are too low so logs roll onto the glass. The glass itself is difficult to keep clear and takes daily cleaning. My suspicion is that an inset stove cannot provide the heat and fuel economy of a freestanding stove so we plan to replace it with a Dru or Westfire.
