Review of Hunter Herald 8 stove

Hunter stove Herald 8

Had the stove fitted in October of 2013 two weeks later the fire rope started coming off the door along with the cement or what ever it is on the edge of the door.

After a lot of discussion with Hunters and the supplier and trading standard's I had another fitted in February of 2014. Low and behold the same thing happened again waiting now to hear the outcome, trading standards are involved again they have suggested I get the money back.

Stove expert replied: Rope seals can be easily re-attached to the stove and the glue for this should be supplied normally by the supplier / Hunter under warranty if a failure occurs so soon after installation.
