Review of Hotpod limited stove

Best stove money could buy

M Van Mierlo 12 years ago

I have wanted a stove for a long time, but never owned a property which allowed me to have a wood burning stove.

A long time ago I stumbled to a TV show on the BBC: "How to pay off your mortgage in 2 years".

It featured the parents of this beautiful stove, and once I saw it I fell in love.

When I bought the house I currently live in, and found a gas stove with remote control in it, only one thing crossed my mind. Get rid of the gas stove and I finally could buy and own my own Hotpod.

I contacted Dan, he is the artist building the stoves from recycled material, and he was still building the Hotpods.

So some time later I drove from my town in the Netherlands to Cornwall to collect my own Hotpod, and to meet Dan, his wife and co-worker Phoebe.

Besides that the trip was beautiful, we were welcome most friendly and Dan gave us a grand tour in his workshop where he produces the Hotpods.

I own the Hotpod now for 5 months and I am still really happy with my stove, besides that I love the way it looks, it warms my whole living room.

It looks small, but looks can deceiving, capacity is above expectations.

So bottom line, it is the best stove my money could buy.

Stove expert replied: Great review, a long way to come for a stove when it could have been sent to you! Very innovative product.
