Review of Franco Belge Limousin stove

We have had our Limousin from new and is now 9 years old, we use it every day in the winter when heat is required.\nWe have only had to fit new rope seals as service items, apart from the glass that I broke.\nWe did not have a chimney in the room so the installer fitted us a stainless external one.\nThis can cause problems with back draft after dusk, however we open the patio door for a few minutes gets the up draft needed. None of this is to do with the stove.\nOpen up the top air wash and the door damper for the first 10 mins and away it goes. Damping down gradually until both are shut, the stove gives heat as required and adjustment of the damper allows increased heat when required. Really works well and we would buy one again tomorrow.\nTip for over night burning, damp down and sprinkle ashes from the ash pan over a made up fire, give it a good rake out in the morning and use damper to increase airflow to adjust heat. \n\n
