Review of Fireline FP5 stove

Very pleased so far

I have only had the fire 6 weeks but light it most nights even if we don`t need it as the weather has been mild.

The only criticism I have is the door handle and the riddle knob needs to have a heat shield,

As for what FPS say about the glass discolouring yes it does if you burn soft wood but cleans it self up when you burn hard wood and keep it at the right temperature what you need is a magnetic temperature gauge and keep it in the middle.

I am just getting the hang of what and when to add a log or bit of coal I have been using glowbright its great, started off using mainly soft wood with a bit of coal, but just got 2.5 tons of hard wood which took me an hour to move form the front of the house to the back and burns great.

I have also burnt peat blocks lovely smell.
