Review of Fireline FP5 stove

Problems with firebricks inside the stove.

Julie Gray 10 years ago

We have had this stove for a few months and love the heat we get from it especially now we are burning coal. But our second set of internal firebricks have cracked. Anyone else got this problem.?

Stove expert replied: Household coal should not be used on the stove only smokeless fuels and care is needed when re-loading the stove to prevent damage to the firebricks. If they crack you can still use them providing they are protecting the metal of the stove, to help keep them in place use fire cement as a bonding agent.
