Had this for 4 years now and it was a nice little burner, BUT now all the bricks have disintegrated and the top baffle plate is warped down by at least 1.5 inches and is cracked. Replacing the bricks and the plate comes to around £100 which in my opinion is too much for only 4 winters service. We only burn seasoned wood.

Stove expert replied: Spares may seem expensive but if you average it over the four years it is a reasonable amount for the operating times that a stove is used and for the heat it is generating, which also saves on other heating costs. You can purchase a sheet of the liner material that you cut yourself which may make it cheaper and worth exploring.
