Review of Farndale stove

Great Little Stove

Chris Blackman 11 years ago

We've had this stove only a month so far but are very pleased with it. It feels like a quality product, draws well to light and thereafter is very controllable with two top and two bottom spinners plus a side vent for extra efficient burning. It easily heats our front room (approx 15ft square)with some to spare for the stairs if necessary. The glass colours slightly after several burns so the airwash isn't 100%, but it still shows a good flame.

Only two slight quibbles: it sits very low so it's impossible to get a brush underneath when sweeping around the hearth. Also the ash tray opening is similarly a bit narrow (though not impossible)to get brush in when clearing out the tray. Making a future version slightly taller in these two respects might improve design.

Otherwise, it's so far proved to be a great little stove.
