Review of Esse 1 stove

Second one

Simon Ross 6 years ago

We were so pleased with the performance of the woodburning Esse 1 se that we got a multifuel one too. This is, again in our victorian house and will heat all the downstairs when going and internal doors left open. We have positioned both stoves (see our other review) outset from the chimney inside the room on slate hearths to get the advantage of radiated heat from the stove itself and the pipes leading to the chimney which all go into the rooms and not up the chimney! Do use kiln dried hardwood logs for woodburning cheaper in the long run.
