Stratford Stove
We installed a Stratford Ecoboiler Stove about 4 yrs ago. At the beginning I was disappointed with all the work involved in cleaning ashes and dust and the amount of fuel we had to keep filling it up with, it took me a while to work out how to use it efficiently, but after about a year we could not believe all the money we saved and the heat in the house is so comfortable. I can say we could not ask for a better heating system. When we are away for the day we can fill it up and close it down and its giving off heat all the time, so nice to come home to a warm house that is so economical to run. We have saved money on oil. Highly recommended.
Stove expert replied: Any new stove will take time to find how best to use it so that you get the best out of it. The fuel put in is on equivalent to heat that you will get out of it, this sound obvious but so may people do not seem to understand this, the quality of the fuel is paramount. Great comments and worth persevering to get the enjoyment and heat that is now been reaped.
