Review of Dunsley Highlander 8 stove

Solid Functional Stove with Good UK Based Back Up

Chris B 11 years ago

We have run our Dunsley for over 6 years now. It has done us reliable service heating our 3 bed barn conversion.

It is solid and robust in construction and easy to light and use. Its slightly older design makes it less controllable than some more modern stoves. This is a benefit when it comes to servicing, spares and replacements.

I recently serviced and cleaned the stove, replacing the fire bricks and window seals. I wouldn't normally take on something like this but the well thought out and simple build approach made the job straight forward even for me.

The support and advice we received from Dunsley was excellent and they posted all the bits promptly and at low cost.

So now our stove looks and works like new again.

Stove expert replied: Routine maintenance is important and should not be missed to insure the stove works as efficiently and effectively as possible..
